Expanding the dream.

Bringing LIS to Leiria is an invitation to build something meaningful together. Rooted in our vision of nurturing curious, courageous and resilient learners, this new campus extends our commitment to creating spaces where children grow not only academically, but as thoughtful, connected human beings.

  • The Leiria Campus will serve students aged 3 to 11.

  • After finishing the Primary Years, our Learners can continue the curriculum in our Marinha Grande campus.

  • The campuses are linked by a bus service, making life easier for families with several children and those balancing demanding professional schedules.

  • Admissions for the 2026–2027 academic year are open! You can pre-enroll by booking a meeting with our admissions team here. Spaces are limited, so we encourage early applications.

  • No — the Leiria Campus is not replacing our current location in Marinha Grande. It represents an exciting expansion of Leiria International School, allowing us to bring our unique educational model to more families in this new city with a second operating location.

    Both campuses share the same philosophy, curriculum, and commitment to holistic, project-based learning.

  • Fueling Growing Bodies

    In partnership with Thomas Franks, we provide delicious, nutritious, and balanced meals, ensuring our growing students have the energy they need to learn and play.

    With the opening of our new Leiria campus this September, LIS enters an exciting new chapter. Our two campuses will operate as one unified community, offering enriching learning environments that nurture curiosity, creativity, and meaningful connections among students, teachers, and families. I am thrilled to be guiding this transition and to see the positive impact it will have on our students’ growth. Together, across both campuses, we are shaping a learning journey that inspires confidence, curiosity, and purpose.

    Guided by that vision, and anchored in our strategic commitment to holistic, student-centred learning, this environment has been intentionally designed for children to feel safe, seen, and valued. It invites curiosity, encourages exploration, and empowers each learner to discover who they are within a connected and caring community.

What excites me most is that our new Leiria campus is not a separate venture, but a natural extension of one united Leiria International School community. With strong links between our Marinha Grande and Leiria campuses—shared values, shared learning approaches, shared culture, and daily collaboration—we are strengthening the continuity of each child’s journey and ensuring families feel connected no matter which campus they belong to.
